Often we hear people making this assertion, that Actors are fakes, that pretend to be someone, which they are not.
Needless to say, this isn't scorning alone, this is factually incorrect, and also shows the laymen-point-of-view one can have about the acting profession.
Acting deals with very delicate emotions. It is not putting up a mask. Each time an actor acts he does not hide; he exposes himself.
